Who Can Join:
  • Non-members: Must have taken our Intro to Screenprint (or have similar experience).
  • Members: Must have completed Intro to Screenprint or screen print orientation.
More info:  Join us at Screen Print Open Hours! This bi monthly open hour session allows for Compound and Non Compound members to access all of the Screen Printing resources we have to offer! Don't have screen printing facilities at your disposal? Use our space to work on your projects. Our print host will focus on troubleshooting and getting people to be able to properly burn their screens as well as offer support regarding larger projects, ideas, or more advance techniques if we have time and space. Current members who have access to the screen printing equipment but are interested in additional support, troubleshooting, or questions about their personal projects can benefit. 

Non Member Prerequisite: Must have taken our Intro to Screenprint.
(If you have not taken our screen print workshop but have screen printing knowledge, please contact us to see if your experience would satisfy the prerequisite requirement)
Compound Member prerequisite: 
Must have already taken Intro to Screenprint or stand alone screen print orientation.

-UV Exposure unit with max screen capacity 26" x 46"

-Screens: Compound can provide screens during the open hours, but to be able to keep your own designs it is encouraged to bring your own. We have a variety of screens (various sizes and mesh counts), but please note your desired screen size and mesh count may not be available.  Screens used will be stripped by the end of class.
 
Bring your own: Water based Ink and Paper and emulsion (Water based ink only in studio)

Transparencies (you can print out transparencies a week in advance through compound for an additional $20 per transparency). You can find the link to submit transparencies on our portal in the articles section. 

Screen Printing is a physical and messy process, be sure to grab an apron, wear comfortable clothes that you don’t worry about getting messy, and have fun!
