Peter Baczek
Peter Baczek received his BA in Art with a concentration in Printmaking from San Jose State University in 1970. He spent some time studying Intaglio with Eleanor Rappe at Fort Mason Art Center in San Francisco. Over the years he has been included in national and international competitions receiving numerous awards. He has participated in many group shows in galleries and museums, including the Berkeley Art Center, Triton Museum, Tokyo Art Museum, Cooper-Hewitt Museum, Philadelphia Museum of Art, Tucson Museum of Art, and the California Palace of the Legion of Honor. He is in several permanent collections, including the Brooklyn Museum, Tucson Museum, California Palace of the Legion of Honor, The Turner Print Museum, and the Library of Congress. He is also a member of the Boston Printmakers.
