Johnny Karwan lives and works in the historic Haight Ashbury where he operates a multidisciplinary art and design studio, art factory and detritus rescue. His career has included years traveling and teaching as an itinerant artist, working with international designers and architects creating site specific artwork for corporate, public and residential clients. "There's a clean flowing energy, rhythmic natural balance and clear pattern to my work" says Johnny. He has exhibited in shows curated by notables such as Christopher Brown, Inez Storer, Richard Shaw, Henry Hopkins and George Herms. He is an alumnus of the San Francisco Art institute.
